You are not at gunpoint to donate – Beverly Afaglo’s manager hits back critics
Actress Yvonne Nelson, after fire gutted her friend, Afaglo’s house, decided to raise a fund of $2000 on GoFundMe. Netizens however was not happy with this idea which made most people to throw shades at Beverly Afaglo, because they think she wealthy enough to recover the loss.
Amidst the backlash from netizens, Mr. Abu Idris, Afaglo’s manager has stated that they’ve not mandated anybody to support them.
According to him, Afaglo had received many calls from loved ones to offer her some help but she turned down their offer including the GoFundMe funds. She however accepted Yvonne Nelson’s GoFundMe opinion upon many advice.
He continued that it is due to a blogger who relies on people downfall for his success and a few people who hates Afaglo that people are insulting her.
He stated that, though Afaglo wasn’t poor but was at his comfort due to his hustle and that of her husband. She works hard to cater for her family but when they say she has lost everything, they mean because the building was the store of most of her documents and liquidated assets meant for a big project yet to begin next year.
In conclusion, the manager said people should leave her client for the have not held anybody at gunpoint to donate and the platform was for people who wanted to help.
