WASSCE 2021 Apor (exams leak) dealer has been arrested. The admin of a popular ‘apor’ telegram group has been arrested by the National Security. The admin of the group, Jerusalema was arrested by the National Security at Kasoa. The news was revealed by an education NGO, Africa Education Watch.
Physics and Business Management papers of the ongoing West Africa Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) which were to be written on Monday September 12, was rescheduled to a yet to be decided date by the examination body, WAEC.This was as a result of examination papers being leaked. WAEC got to know before the commencement of the paper that it has been leaked.
WAEC therefore launched a vigorous investigation into the matter and warned the public to design in any act that constitutes exams malpractice as anybody found guilty will not be spared.
The NGO, Education Watch Africa who petitioned the National Security to investigate the issue,on Friday September 17 broke the news on it Facebook page that the admin of Jarusalema has been arrested.
“Breaking News: Notorious Telegram WASSCE Apo Dealer, Jerusalema, has been arrested by National Security in Kasoa!”, the post revealed.
This arrest add up to the twy teachers of Ahamanso Islamic Senior High school who were arrested by the Kadjebi District Police in an attempt to leak the exams papers.
The two teachers namely Mohammed Musah aged 33 and Felix Ocloo,aged 32 appeared to the Kadjebi District Migistrates Courts on Wednesday September 15 with Musah pleading guilty while Ocloo pleaded not guilty.
