Sam George just chose vawulence over peace”, “Vawulence over peace”, are most tweets after Hon. Samuel Nartey George (Sam Gyata George) replied to a tweet from the US embassy in Ghana which seeks to promote LGBTQIA in Ghana.

In a tweet this morning the USA embassy in Ghana announced how readiness the US government is in fighting for the right of LGBTQIA society in Ghana.

The tweet read, “The U.S. is committed to ending violence, discrimination, and stigma against LGBTQI+ persons and promoting human rights and fundamental freedoms for all.”

Minutes after the tweet, the member of parliament for the Ningo-Prampram constituency, who is an advocate for the proper Ghanaian culture and family values bill, replied with a sarcastic post that seeks to tell the US to focus on issues in its country.

The tweet read, “Ghana is also committed to ending senseless gun violence anywhere and everywhere in the world. We are committed to seeing school kids go to school without their parents scared of receiving calls of a school shooting involving military-grade weapons. #EndGunViolenceEverywhere.”
