This unfortunate incident occured on the Sunyani-Nsoatre Road when the Member of Parliament had attended a funeral at Odumase and returning from the journey.

According to a joy news report, the driver of the minister did an overtaking which made his car to clash with coming tipper truck.

Though the honourable member suffered some injuries but was able to escape death. He was however rushed to the hospital for proper medical care.
