Chanique Rabe, First African To Wear The Miss Supranational Crown

Namibia’s Chanique Rabe has become the first African to win the Miss Supranational beauty contest in Poland. Chanique Rabe is a Namibian fashion designer and a fashion model. She won the the Namibian Miss Supranational 2020 but couldn’t compete for Miss Supranational 2020 because of it postponement due to COVID-19.

She beats competitors from 77 countries to emerge as the 2021 Miss Supranational. The 2021 Miss Supernatural was held at Nowy Sacz, Poland. Chanique Rabe is currently the Miss Supranational and the first African to wear the Miss Supranational crown.

Chanique Rabe took to her official Instagram account to thank all Namibians and Africans for supporting her to become the first African to win Miss Supranational.

“Namibia, we did it! I am honoured to win the first Miss Supranational crown for Africa! It is still sinking in… All I can say is THANK YOU! Thank you to the Miss Supranational organization for giving me this opportunity and thank you to everyone for every single message, phone call and gesture! A big congratulations to all the contestants, what a wonderful journey it has been.”

“Anntonia Porsild, thank you for being such an inspiration and wonderful title holder, I truly have such big shoes to fill.I am so grateful and honoured to be here and excited for what’s to come. All my love, Your Miss Supranational 2021,” she added.

South Africa’s Thato Mosehle finished as the Second Runner-up at the event.Thato is the first person under the official Miss South Africa Organisation banner to compete at Miss Supranational
