The mining company is in search of experienced, hardworking and self-motivated personels to fill the following open positions at it premise.
Brief description:
To contribute to and participate in providing a detailed survey and evaluation service, through the use of scientific survey tools and equipment.
To retain optimum mining levels of the ore body and maintain the longevity of a continuous ore supply.
Brief job description:
- Perform daily servicing of heavy mining and auxiliary equipment using any available service truck on the site , example CAT 740ADT, MAN Truck, Toyota 4×4 Truck
- Assist in carrying out oil level checks and oil changes on all mining and support equipment to maintain equipment or vehicle in standard and serviceable condition.
- Use forklifts, telehandlers and other lifting devices to convey oils and lubes safely for dispense to service trucks and for other requirements as may be necessary.

- Follow laid-down procedures and instructions and methodically work through the assigned checklist.
- Understand standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and standard task procedures (STP’s), according to the assigned work schedule; interpret and execute on the work schedule.
- Participate in job hazard analyses (i.e. non-routine activities) and standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and standard task procedures (STP’s).
Senior Long-term Planning Lead – Underground
Brief job description
- To provide mine designs, schedules and reports that comply with internal Newmont reserve reporting guidelines.
- To participate in the Long Term Planning process for the region focusing the underground (UG) projects and sites, and to provide UG planning scenarios that align with the goals of the process.
